Lucky berliners
The North Highland Way with mostly unmarked ways and partially rough terrain has the right mix of adventure and comfort, even in this remote area the next pub is never far away and accomodation is very comfortable. A true recommendation! With Ians help you will never get lost, and there is always the sea to give direction.

Thank you so much for your lovely words. I'm so glad that all the Berliners had a great time. Maybe do the bits you missed the next time.

The first group
Myself and three friends were the first group to take the Easyways, North Highland Way walk package and we were very fortunate to have support from Ian Ellis during the walk. Clearly, with a new walk, there are some minor issues but these were generally straightforward, easily resolved and did not detract from what was a very enjoyable walk across terrain that none of us had walked previously. I can only wish Ian all the best with his efforts to promote the walk and to Andrew at Easyways good luck with promoting what is already a great walk and one that, I believe, will only get better as it becomes more popular. As a final comment to any subsequent walkers, the additional day to walk to Sandwood Bay is well worth the effort

Ian has worked tirelessly to take the message of the benefits that would be forthcoming to the local community should such a way-marked walk linking John O Groats in the East to Cape Wrath in the West become a reality.
I have found Ian has been a fantastic source of knowledge and assistance in my marketing effort to introduce the walk to EasyWays customers. Without this help my task would have been all the more difficult.
